Cheese curds are a fresh young cheddar cheese that is the product resulting from the first step in the cheese making process.  Milk is coagulated (using rennet) and is acidified(using starter culture) causing the milk to “curdle”.  The curds are skimmed from the vat once the whey has been separated from the milk.  These curds are flavored with dill weed to give them the satisfying taste of dill.

Best served at room temperature or heated for 10 seconds in a microwave.
